Important Info for Homeowners Who's Homes Are Flooded & Utilities have Been Turned Off
A) HOW DO I GET MY UTILITIES TURNED ON AGAIN AFTER THE FLOOD WATER HAD RECEDED?
1). Call your Licensed Electrician and Licensed Plumber. They will obtain a permit for you for your gas line and electrical service from the City of Garfield Building Department.
2). Your Contractors will inspect your electrical box and gas lines to make sure that there have been no damages to your utilities. If there are any they will make the appropriate repairs.
3). Once your contractors have inspected your utilities and made any necessary repairs, they must contact the City of Garfield Building Department with your address and permit number and make an appointment for an inspection.
4). Once you have passed inspection, the Garfield Building Department will notify your Utilities company so that they can turn your utilities back on.
